Te Kōtuku Rerenga Tahi

What is Te Kōtuku Rerenga Tahi?

Te Kōtuku Rerenga Tahi is APM’s National two-year new graduate programme. APM have been running a programme for New Graduates since 2017 and have drawn on years of experience to design a programme based on feedback from previous years.

Following your induction with the new graduate cohort, you will have the opportunity to shadow assessments and rehab follow ups with experienced therapists. Your career journey with APM is guided by experienced mentors, ensuring growth and success every step.

What do the first two years look like?

You’ll have the opportunity to gain experience across a variety of rehabilitation contracts, all while receiving support and guidance to help you discover your interests and develop yourself as an allied health professional.

 

Year 1

• Weekly learning sessions with focus on Vocational Rehabilitation, with introduction of other contracts later in the year                       
• Learning sessions based on feedback from previous new graduate groups

• New Graduate focus group sessions will extend to fortnightly in July                                  
• Weekly Coaching with Team Leader ( This maybe extended to fortnightly in the year)

Year 2

• Monthly journal club session led by new graduate peers                 
• Coaching sessions with team leader
