About the role

Based in East Tamaki and supporting a team of 14 allied health professionals across the wider Auckland region, you will draw on your expertise and experience to lead and develop your team to ensure the delivery of customer and client KPIs and operational targets. You will have ownership of your client’s rehabilitation journey, and together with your team will support a range of clients in their recovery journey by gaining independence while reducing the impact of their illness or injuries through:

  • Managing the service delivery standard of your own clinical case load
  • Providing your team with strong leadership, coaching, support, and development
  • Driving the team to deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Building and maintain relationships with a range of external agencies as well as provide employers and insurers
  • Leading and empowering your team to truly make a positive difference in your client’s lives
  • Supporting senior leaders through exploring new business opportunities

Key skills and experience

  • Tertiary qualification in BHSc Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
  • Current registration with Occupational Therapy Board of NZ or Physiotherapy NZ
  • Experience in a leadership role with a team of direct reports
  • Proven ability to deliver on KPIs and manage performance
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Awareness of cultural competency and an ability to work with diversity
  • Full NZ/AU Driver's Licence
